Update on the #TheGiggCleanUp

Since we announced the completion of the acquisition of Gigg Lane Stadium. We have seen an amazing 1,000 people assisting with the cleanup from shoveling leaves, cleaning seats, removal of old signage, clearing up debris from the vandalism, it has been a fantastic effort.

The next stage of the works is to continue the pressure washing of the internal of the stadium, which will then follow with painting once the stadium is clean.

Days each week will change depending on the tasks to be completed.

Pressure Washing, Main stand paddocks, internal main stand cleanup will be
Saturday 9th April 8.30am until 12.30pm
Tuesday 12th April 9am until 1pm and Thursday 14th April 9am until 1pm

Alongside working with Bury College Construction and Sport department we are now calling on local tradespeople to assist with the next planned schedule of works. General builders, roofers, joiners, fencing specialists, plumbers and tree surgeons.

We would like to thank again Bury Skips, Seniors Waste Removals, Garic, VJTechnology and RC Pitch Solutions for their continued weekly support enabling us to keep on track with the cleanup.
