Treasureline back as Project Gigg 2022

Treasureline returns as “Project Gigg 2022”

The Society Directors are delighted to announce that we have entered into an agreement with National Youth & Community Development Association (NYCDA) commencing today.

Conversations have been taking place for a number of months as to whether there was scope for a partnership between both organisations in an effort to help with the restoration of Gigg Lane for the community.

NYCDA, who are based in the heart of Bury themselves, only minutes from Gigg Lane and the town centre, have a wealth of experience in supporting sports clubs and charities to raise funds through their NYCDA Weekly Draw. It is this expertise that we are looking to tap into, and we are confident this partnership will grow into a steady income stream, which delivers meaningful community projects for the people of Bury

The partnership will see the funds raised being utilised for these community projects, such as towards the restoration and redevelopment of Gigg Lane under the banner of PROJECT GIGG 2022.

Going forward, fans and local people alike, will be able to support Project Gigg 2022 by becoming a participant in the NYCDA Weekly Draw. Members can play for as little as £2 per week with the opportunity to win fantastic cash amounts including a main weekly £1000.00 prize, as well as a £500 Rollover, which can rise to a huge £10,000. Additional prizes ranging from £10 to £100 are also up for grabs every Wednesday.

Daniel Bowerbank, Operations Director of Gigg Lane
“We are delighted to announce this refreshing new partnership with another local Bury based organisation in NYCDA and look forward to working with them to raise funds for our community initiatives. As an integral part of Bury Football Club history, the club used a lottery, with the old Treasureline being a vital income stream for many years, especially when it was at its peak.

Via a modern, reinvigorated approach, as part of our community project scheme this income will once again provide a vital revenue source for the stadium, to enable a sustainability programme and a ground which is accessible for the whole community of Bury.”
