David passed away peacefully on Monday 21st November 2022 in Wythenshawe Hospital. He was 71 and battled bravely against all that MND threw at him, showing great determination, tenacity and pragmatism. His humour and strength of character remained until the end.
He leaves behind loving wife Eve and daughter Katie, adored granddaughter Emily, sister Elizabeth, brother Bill, mother-in-law Elfie, brother-in-law Geoff and sister-in-law Karen.
He will be missed immeasurably but his values and positive outlook on life will inspire us so that his legacy lives on.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) were incredibly supportive to to Dave and his family and if you would like to make a donation in Dave’s name, the link is below. The MNDA support research to find a cure and also to support people and families living with MND.

After the funeral service we’d love to see you at Dave’s beloved Gigg Lane in the 1885 function room at around 11.30am.
