Bury FC V Burnley Legends Game Information

Bury FC v Burnley Legends game information

Mens’ football finally returns to Gigg Lane this Sunday 17th July at 2pm, when our Shakers’ Legends grace the hallowed turf that has been lovingly worked into good condition by volunteers.

Gates will open at 12 midday

If you haven’t already booked online, you can PAY ON THE DAY at the Cemetery End turnstiles.

Show your support and wear your Bury FC shirts with pride! Have you got a Birthdays or Milliken Carpets shirt? We’d love to see your retro ones – home and away!

We will be using the Les Hart south stand for 2,700 unreserved seating, with the overflow into the Cemetery End. As we continue to hold events, we will continue to use more of the stands, ensuring it is cost effective for the numbers in attendance.

Gigg Lane Community Stadium is a sporting venue with a capacity of 12,500, and as such we are required to have a safety certificate in place for matches with attendees – no matter what level of competition.

Whilst we want a party atmosphere to celebrate this amazing occasion, we would like to emphasise that pyrotechnics will not be allowed into the stadium. Searches will be carried out and banning orders will be issued if necessary. Pitch encroachment is illegal and also subject to a banning order.

This will be a fun and momentous day so bring your flags*, confetti canisters, drums and your voices – and let’s create an event to be proud of!

*Flags will need to be brought to the stadium on Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and will be installed by our stadium operations team. Flags will not be permitted on the day.

Owen The Grill will be on site to serve his much loved burgers, hot dogs, soft and hot drinks!

Alcohol sales are permitted within the beer container and the South Stand – with lager, cider and fruit cider, 3 for £10! But please be advised the kiosks are cash only at present

We can’t wait, and hope you all enjoy the game!
