A record breaking 3,500 crowd were in attendance for the inaugural Funfair and Fireworks Display at Gigg Lane Community Stadium.
Gigg Lane was lit up with a superb 13-minute display from the award-winning Atom Fireworks and Magical Fireworks.
We want to say a huge thanks to Carousel Funfairs, City Events and John Collins who provided all the rides and catering units on the evening.

Daniel Bowerbank, Chairman of Bury Football Club Supporters’ Society said, “This event has always been well supported by the local community, but with over 3,000 online sales prior to the event, we achieved a record attendance. I started the event 9 years ago when an employee at Bury FC but this was the most successful ever. I want to give a huge thank you to everyone that supported the event, and especially to the volunteers, without whom these events wouldn’t happen. It’s given us great pride to host such a successful event with such numbers from the community, especially in times where the whole country is full of financial uncertainty. We are committed to making it bigger and better each year and are already planning for 2023’s Fireworks Display”
